It has been a character of Architecture study program of the Universitas Gadjah Mada to routinely conduct summer workshop for its students. In 2019 Architecture UGM had the privilege to have collaboration with AMINEF scholar to conduct 2019 workshop, the workshop’s theme was Architecture and Identity. The primary objective of the workshop was to compel students to think about the relationship between architecture and identity by analyzing religiously and culturally significant sites used for pilgrimage. The objective was accomplished through a multi-day workshop in which students used photographs, diagrams, and other methods to analyze sacred space.
